Tour de Delta Officially Announces Beedie As Presenting Sponsor – Event has presenting sponsor for first time in 18-year history

Delta, BC – The City of Delta today announced a major partnership giving Beedie presenting sponsorship rights for the 2018 Tour de Delta. The event will now be known as the Tour de Delta presented by Beedie.

The partnership marks the beginning of a new sponsorship era for the Tour de Delta as Beedie is the first presenting sponsor in the event’s 18-year history.
“Having Beedie on board as presenting sponsor is exciting and significant for the Tour de Delta,” said City of Delta Mayor Lois E. Jackson. “Community support and sponsorship are a huge part of putting on an event of this caliber. Beedie’s commitment as our presenting sponsor shows their passion and dedication, and we are thrilled to have them on as an integral sponsor.”
The Tour de Delta, which is part of BC Superweek, includes criterium races in North Delta (July 6) and Ladner (July 7) along with the UCI-sanctioned White Spot | Delta Road Race in Tsawwassen (July 8).

Founded in 1954, Beedie is an owner and developer of industrial and residential real estate, including mixed-use projects. It is now the largest private industrial land owner, developer and landlord in Metro Vancouver, having completed 21 million square feet of new construction throughout British Columbia and Alberta.

BC Superweek is Canada’s biggest professional road cycling series and features more than $140,000 in prize money with nine races over ten days. BC Superweek runs from July 6 – 15 and is made up of the Tour de Delta presented by Beedie (July 6 – 8), New West Grand Prix (July 10), Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix (July 11), Giro di Burnaby presented by Appia Development (July 12), PoCo Grand Prix presented by Dominion Lending Centres (July 13), and Tour de White Rock presented by Landmark Premiere Properties (July 14 – 15).
