BC Superweek is pleased to announce that Champion System has signed on as the official winner’s jersey provider for six BC Superweek races this summer, including the Tour de Delta, New West Grand Prix, Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix and PoCo Grand Prix presented by Dominion Lending Centres.
Champion System is a worldwide leader in custom technical apparel. “We are excited to partner with BC Superweek events, which is highly regarded as North America’s premier professional cycling series,” states Champion System co-founder Scott Kaylin. “Being involved with this prestigious event provides us with a great way to enhance our commitment to supporting Canadian cycling across all levels.”
The awards podium jersey is a signature piece for each event. “We look forward to working with Champion System. They are a company that has manufactured clothing for some of the biggest cycling programs in the world. With athletes now attending BC Superweek from every corner of the globe, it is fitting that these races become aligned with partners who are also internationally known”, said BC Superweek Race Director Mark Ernsting. “Scott and his team are great to work with and understand how to deliver a world class product.”
The Corporate Challenge at the PoCo Grand Prix is just one such instance where BC Superweek offers a unique opportunity for those outside the professional cycling community to be involved. In the Corporate Challenge, companies can allow four of their staff to experience what a professional race is like. These teams will have the opportunity to engage with Champion System to create and order their own custom jerseys.
Champion System has an easy ordering process with very short turnaround times and fans can look forward to seeing the winner’s jersey designs at the BC Superweek races this summer.
